London: William Pickering, 1850. Third edition 1850. Three volume set containing essays concerning politics, morals and religion, with "literary amuseuements interspersed". Brown blind stamped cloth with gilt spine lettering, 7 inches tall. Generally good condition with some light chipping to the spine ends, good hinges (front hinge of first volume lightly internally cracked and secure), text blocks sound, pages clean, no names or other markings.. Hard Cover. Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
