Dust jacket is in Fair Condition, with foxing and edge chips, protected in a mylar cover. 326pp bound in blue cloth with gilt lettering, includes an index. Owners bookplate on ffp with light foxing on endpapers. A continuous account of the Franciscans and Franciscanism in England from the landing of the Friars at Dover in September 1224 to the supression of the order under Henry VIII. Includes a chapter on the Black Death. BINDING AND HINGES STRONG AND TIGHT.
