Boston and London: Ginn & Company, 1902. Cloth. Very Good. 8" by 5.5". Charles Copeland. An interesting volume on the Fowls of the Air that is richly illustrated and written by a wilderness expert. This is an interesting volume by the wilderness explorer William Joseph Long about the birds and beasts and include legends told about the animals and the tales are true to what Long has witnessed within the wild. William Joseph Long was an American writer, naturalist and minister and wrote of his wilderness experiences in the books Ways of Wood Folk, Wilderness Ways, Wood-Folk Comedies, Northern Trails and Wood Folk at School. Illustrated by Charles Copeland, who was an American book illustrator and member of the Boston Watercolor Society and the Boston Art Club. With ten full page illustrations. In the original cloth binding. Externally, generally smart with some fading to the spine and marks to the boards. The extremities are a little bumped. Internally, firmly bound with bright and generally clean pages with the occasional spot. Very Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
