Autographed by King on the title page. Some misguided soul tried to attach the dust jacket to the boards with some sort of adhesive. Glue stick? It is no longer attached, and very little tacky residue or discoloring remains. But for this odd defect the book and the dust jacket would be fine. This is my absolutely, totally, forever favourite story/book! I identify with the protagonist so much I wonder if we were both part of a previous life and have read it five times and with each reading find some gem I had missed before. It will be read many times in my future, each time with the same anticipation. I only wish I had the time and finances to travel to the San Juan Islands to try and find this special one, but maybe it will be in my next life. 🤞🤞
