About This Item
New York: Mysterious Press, 2000. First Edition, First Printing. . Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. Flashfire" is the third book in the second coming of Stark's anti-hero, the stone-cold robber and killer, known only as Parker, returned to the noir crime genre after a 23-year absence. The 19th book overall in the series has a pair of holdup men making the very bad mistake of doublecrossing Parker during a Midwest bank robbery and now Parker is making plans to be on hand for the pair's next heist, a spectacular jewel robbery in Palm Beach. The one thing Parker hasn't taken account of is a very bad, very stupid man who wants him dead. Boards and text are clean and unmarked, tight and square, not remaindered. The dustjacket shows only some minimal surface and edgewear, no tears, no creasing or chipping, not price-clipped. A collectable copy.
