About This Item
New York: Coward- McCann, Inc, 1958. First Edition. Hardcover. Very good/Very good. A farce involving a dermatologist, an alcoholic detective, a mad judge, a high-speed car crash, and a hash (hashish) party. First US edition (the UK edition came first), first printing (with no indication of later printings). A very good copy in a very good dust jacket, with small chips and tears to the edges. This is the correct jacket, without mention of Southern's screenplay for Dr. Strangelove.
