Mary Azarian lives in Plainfield, Vermont and when she first came to Vermont taught at one of the last one-room schoolhouses in Vermont. Vermont's department of education contracted her to write and design a Farmers Alphabet, the the idea of creating a decorative teaching aid that would celebrate some of rural traditions that are still around today. This oversized book is a rare find and a beautiful example of Mary Azarian's work. 28pg. Colophon.
