Profusely illustrated with 32 full-page B&W illustrations, including tissue-protected frontispiece. William McKendree Carleton (1845 1912) was an American poet from Michigan. Carleton's poems were most often about his rural life.. Spine sunned and worn on top and bottom, ffep and frontispiece loose, book split between pages 94-95, previous owner's signatrue on ffep, else tight, square, unmarked, and clean. FAIR. .
