About This Item
Boston: Houghton Mifflin, 1968. Hardcover with unclipped dust jacket, second printing of the First Edition, 219 pages including the author's illustrations; very gently used, tight in binding, gentle bumps to spine ends but just a hint of shelf wear, five child's ink signatures (one inside each cover, one on free front endpaper, one on title page, and the last on the DJ front flap, same girl!, and I just noticed she started another on the top edge but managed only the "S"), book and DJ otherwise very clean and unmarked, text pages remarkably fresh and white; DJ has several chips, several short tears, light rubbing along flap hinges, heavier rubbing along spine, but wraparound cover art still bright and colourful.. . Hard Cover. Very Good ++/Good.
