About This Item
Ottawa: The Authority of the Minister of National Defense, 1950. Hardcover. Very Good. Blue cloth, with dust jacket tipped-onto prelims. Illustrated. From the library of Douglas Fairbanks, Jr., with his bookplate, and inscribed to him on the FFEP. Fairbanks (1909-2000) was an iconic American actor from Hollywoods Golden Era (his credits include Gunga Din), and a highly decorated naval officer of World War II. A nice copy, just a little rubed along the edges, thin crack on front hinge, faint ex-library stamp on bottom edge of text block (Canadian Naval Service).
