About This Item
Toronto: new press, 1973. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Fine/Very Good. Fine First Edition copy of Gault's book about the remarkable 1972 8-game hockey series between Canada and the USSR, and the nation-uniting winning goal by Paul Henderson. Inscribed by Henderson on the ffep. The book is clean, tight and square in publisher's blue/gray cloth. The jacket features an illustration of Henderson's jubilation following the goal. The jacket shows wear to the extremities and has a closed tear to the top left corner of the front cover adjacent to the spine. Overall, a nice copy of a signed book about a highlight in Canadian sports history.
