About This Item
London: Jonathan Cape & The Book Society, 1954. Red Cloth. Very Good Plus/Very Good Plus. Large 12mo. 257pp. A fresh copy with gilt embossed lettering to the spine. There is a red biro inscription to the front end paper. The lower corner of the front board is bumped, as well as slight bumping to the head & tail of the spine - with associated creasing to the overlying wrapper. The book is very clean. The dust wrapper has not been price clipped, though has a very short, closed tear to the head, now expertly repaired. A very fresh, very well preserved copy.
