G-VG. 13.5 Cm x 22 Cm. xxxv+390; front gutter paper mostly split but remains firm, rear gutter good, prev.owner's small gilt label top front pastedown, Newcastle-on-Tyne Spiritual Evidence Society library plate centre same, no other internal lib.markings, occ.dustiness, faint hints of edge-browning etc. but basically internally clean, tight and unmarked; covers have cloth faintly faded in patches, joints rubbed, Newcastle-on-Tyne Spiritual Evidence Society library plate recurring on back cover but very darkened - to illegibility on much of it. Half leather and mauve cloth covers, spine faded with early star lib.number label towards bottom, title legible but lacking any gilt it may have once had. A quite acceptable reference copy of this popular work, with an interesting provenance. Note: quoted non-UK shipping rates are calculated for 500-700 gram net weight, cost will be modified up or down as appropriate outside this range.
