About This Item
Paris: Henri Laurens, Librairie Renouard, 1932. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. Morin, Henry. 4to. 199 pp. With mix of color and black and white illustrations. 12 nearly full page color illustrations. Color has a light almost pastel like palette, and illustrations by Morin have a winsome fusion of simplicity with pretty detail; or with great economy, he is able to transport us to another time, place and reality. Here are the best known tales of La Fontaine. Some wear to blue decorated cloth, with a few frayed threads along borders and cloth worn through in lower corners. Rubbing along gutter. Color blindstamped animals still bright. Inside pages are toned yet clean. A very good copy.
