The Bettle family were prominent nineteenth century merchants in Philadelphia. Jane and her husband Samuel were both Quaker ministers active in their meeting and yearly meeting. These memorandums were written during her protracted illness until her decease and express her joy and gratitude in Divine love. . Good. Hardcover. 1st. 1843.
