Eyre & Spottiswoode, 1942. First Edition. Hardcover. Acceptable. Significant rubbing and wear to edges of wrapper, tears and loss to top and bottom of spine. Slight darkening to spine. Wrapper has been internally repaired with special non acidic archive tape and is now in removable clear protective sleeve. Not price clipped, no inscriptions, frontespiece. Significant spotting to end papers and edges of text block. Text is clean and bright with little wear. Heavy book, will require additional postage outsidethe UK.
