Rebacked to style with japanese tissue, using the original label, binding tight, foxed. 2 preivoius owner's signatures on flyleaf, signature inkstamp p. 61. Ruffin, owner of several Virginia plantations, has been called the father of soil science for his antebellum work, but is more famous for firing the first shot at Ft.
