Brown cloth boards with elaborate decoration in black and gilt. Gilt titles with similar decoration.Floral endpapers. 477 pp. followed by 2 pp. advertising. Disraeli's last novel. Chipping to top of spine, edgewear to bottom, with a nick in between, light wear to extremities. Antique ex-library with hand-numbered and hand-dated bookplate. Occasional foxing. List of characters on blank endpaper in a contemporary hand. A few stray pencil marks. Good plus condition..
