Published by John Murray, London, 1933, reprint. Dark blue cloth boards, gilt lettering on white patch to spine, no dustwrapper. 8.75ins x 5.75ins, xxxiv, 301pp plus 24pp plates ( 7 in colour) & three maps (one folding). All but two of the illustrations are by Edward (Ted) Wilson. Introduction by Apsley Cherry-Garrard. Some foxing to the text, occasionally heavy, plates not affected.Previous owners name & date to front free endpaper. Stuck down to the rear pastedown is a letter asking the recipient to accept the book as a gift. The presenter claims to be ""remotely related"" to the author but there does not seem to any other significance to the letters presence.G+
