The text is illustrated with a dual toned frontispiece of Hyman Kaplan, and black-and-white illustrations by C. Keeling, and Glenn Steward. Green coloured cloth covered boards with red coloured illustrations and titles to the front panel and red coloured titles to the back strip. In this book Hyman Kaplan misuses, twists, contorts the English-language into heretofore linguistic knots. Softening of the back strip edges with some bumping and rubbing of the book corners. Cocking of the spine. Sunning of the back strip with a few marks to the book panels. Age toning of the text block edges and pages. Offset tanning to the end pages with previous owner's ex libris plate to the free front end page. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
