Philadelphia: College Art Association, 1931. 1st Edition . Hardcover. VG+ for age/No Jacket. Black cloth binding with lettered yellow cloth spine, slight marking to spine otherwise very good. 238 pp. + (6, adverts), numerous illustrations numbered by chapter on 118 plates, 12 being coloured, all inc.in pagination, 1 cm square red ideogram bottom corner half title with short small penciled number above it, otherwise clean, tight and unmarked with good gutters, no tanning, fore-edge uncut. Eleven chapters on various topics including ancient jJapanese pigments (with coloured plates +tissue guards), Khmer architecture, Chinese lacquer and Persian lustred pottery (fill details on request), also a short opening obituary in Frenc of Gaston Migeon. Apparently very scarce. 23.5 cm x 30.5 cm.
