Book NEVER READ. Book Interior AS NEW/ Covers Fine/ Dust Jacket Near Fine. Sewn binding. Rag edge pages. Boards are blue, spine and quarter boards are navy cloth, lettering silver, front cover is embossed LBY. Dust jacket is white/blue/black, lettering white, colour photo front and back (same photo), and black/white photo on back flap. Dust jacket is NOT PRICE CLIPPED, has no rips, no holes, no stains, normal shelf wear to edges, tiny bits of colour off at top of flap folds, spine, and on back cover, front cover has a thin short crease mark, front and back dj covers have a bit of overall shelf wear from rubbing adjacent book on shelf. Book covers and spine are flat, clean, bright, no rips, no bent corners, no spine creases, a tiny bit of sunning along top edges, a few small white marks on bottom board edge. Page edges clean and bright. Inner end papers are red/blue/white Cross-section of the lowest 85 miles of the earth’s atmosphere. Inside of book is tight, clean, bright, clear, flat. 8 Pages of Full Colour Plates. Contents include: The View From Space, Man Probes The Atmosphere, Water Falling From The Sky, The Ozone Umbrella, The Swift Jet Streams, The Green Flash And Other Light Shows, Wind From The Sun, The Ninety-Year Forecast, etc. Notes, Bibliography. I'm very careful in describing my books accurately and I've done so to the best of my ability using the IOBA Book Condition guidelines. All items are from a smoke-free, clean, dry environment. My books are from a large private collection, very well taken care of and rarely handled. All descriptions and photos are of the actual books I'm selling. I'm happy to answer any questions regarding my books, just ask. IMPORTANT RE POSTAGE: I'm in Canada so books to the USA/Other Countries are International shipments and may be delayed by CUSTOMS and/or HOMELAND SECURITY. I'm using the Biblio standard postage matrix, which gives average postage fees, therefore sometimes for an OVERSIZE or LARGE heavy book or expensive book, the postage may be too low and may require extra charges. If I know this in advance, I will notify the buyer before the order is processed.
This is not a huge book warehouse, it is a small one-owner store run by a true book lover. POSSIBLE DELAYS: I'm elderly and disabled and while this usually does not cause a delay in order processing, it sometimes may cause a small delay for me to get to the post office.
