London: Spring Books, 1966. 2nd Ed. . Cloth. Near Fine/Fair. (2d) Printed in Czechoslovakia. Very large squarish book, black cloth with artist's initials embossed in large letters on front, gilt very good on spine, all top and bottom edges lightly faded, first 44 pages are Intro. with small illustrations, Durer's writings and Notes on Plates. 50 Color plates--astonishingly beautiful, on heavy paper, plus 16 b/w illustrations including the frontispiece self-portrait. DJ color-illustrated on front and back, tiny tears with slight wear and nicks to all edges and tips. Fair DJ/Near Fine book.
