Hardback, 1864, Bohn's Standard Library, published by Bell and Daldy, London, 563 pages.
Measures around 7 1/2" by 5". Brown cloth binding, embossed and patterned, gilt lettering to spine. Some scuffing and marking. Signs of shelf-wear, slightly bumped and torn corners and edges. Binding reasonably firm, though strained in places. Page edges deckled, browned, scuffed and marked with some staining which has bled onto page surfaces to some degree. A little marking to endpapers. Some creased page corners. Rubbed out inscription to FFEP, the odd pencil mark but otherwise, no marginalia, underlining, etc. See pictures for further information.
