An historical novel set in 15th century Germanic principalities with their rivalries and quarrels and battles. Three color illustrations, eight black and white, all in good condition. Aimed at the juvenile reader of 19th century, it would benefit from being read together with a young reader because of the vocabulary.. 1st Edition thus. Hard Cover. Illus. by Marguerite de Angeli.
