London: Seeley, Jackson and Halliday, 1875. First Edition. Hardcover. Fair. 246, [2] p. 21 cm. Frontispiece and 15 other illustrations. Blue cloth with gold and black impressing. From our As Is shelf. Corners worn. Spine darkened with tears in ends, holes in rear hinge. Some rubbing, stains and discolouration to rear board. Front board and spine separating from text block and rear hinge is also cracking. Label residue on front pastdown. Blind stamp on front free endpaper. Some thumbing to pages, esp. list of illustrations.
