About This Item
Boston: Houghton Mifflin Company, 1939. First edition, first printing. Tan cloth printed in black and dark red, with dustjacket. The book has light rubbing to the extremities, good hinges, sound text block, tiny chips to the top of a couiple of pages, unevenly darkened endpapers, pages age-toned but clean, personal bookplate inside front cover, no other names or markings. Light musty odor. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped [2.50] and has some edgewear and surface soil, darkened white background to rear panel, some tiny chips, very little paper loss.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
