1637. Prima edizione del 1637 di questo trattato di diritto marittimo dello storiografo, filologo e pensatore politico danese Joannes Isaac Pontanus (1571-1639), discepolo dell'astronomo Thyco Brahe. Pontano si trasferì prima in Francia poi in Olanda dove percepì il clima politica culturale che portò all'elaborazione delle teorie di diritto internazionale espresse in quest'opera, una vivace confutazione delle teorie sul mare chiuso di John Selden. In appendice il testo dedicato alla navigazione "De Ophyra" di Gaspar Barreiros (m. 1574) e "Problemata nautica" di Bartholomaus Keckermann (1573-1609). Alcune incisioni all'interno. First edition of 1637 of this treaty of sea right by the danish storiographer, phylologist and politician Joannes Isaac Pontanus (1571-1639), disciple of the astronomer Thyco Brahe. Pontano moved in France and in Holland where he lived in the cultural political climate where he elaborated the theories of international right expressed in this work, a confutation of the theories about closed sea by John Selden. In appendix the text dedicated to navigation "De Ophyra" by Gaspar Barreiros (m. 1574) and "Problemata nautica" by Bartholomaus Keckermann (1573-1609). Some illustrations inside.
