About This Item
New York: Assouline Publishing. Near Fine in Very Good+ dust jacket. 2017. Hardcover. 1614285489 . This is a beautifully produced book cataloging some of Chrisitan Dior's most iconic creations. The photographs by Laziz Hamani are simply stunning, and the text (in English) by Musee Galliera director Olivier Saillard provides contextual details of his most famous designer. Published to coincide with the 70th anniversary of the houe of Dior, and expected to be the first volume in a series devoted to creative directors of fashion houses. Dior's designs during the first ten years are beautiful creations and featured in many museums around the world. A wonderful treat for any fashion lover or a welcome addition to the life of a person who admires beauty in its many forms. This book has no owner names nor are there any interior or exterior markings. The dust jacket is also in very nice condition with the exception of some light scratching to the rear panel--probably from moving it on a table. This book appears to have been seldom used. It is a heavy, large format book and additional shipping may be required depending on the destination. Please inquire if you would like more information. Size: 14.75" x 11.75" ; Color & B&W Photographs; Folio 13" - 23" tall; 500 pages .
