Complete set of this curious illustrated Expressionist literary magazine with individualist-anarchist tendencies.

The first issue contains only one writing, a lengthy, sixty-page novel "Teresa und Wolfgang" by Samuel Lublinski, while the second is a collective work of two editors Meyer and Lautensack with illustrations of ten drawings by Georg Walter Rössner and a reproduction of Max Beckmann's lithograph. The third issue is dedicated to Anselm Ruest's text which is illustrated with six woodcuts by Artur Segal. The penultimate double issue is a lyrical anthology with contributions by more than a hundred authors, including Johannes R. Becher, Max Brod, Else Lasker-Schüler, Thomas Mann, Christian Morgenstern, Erich Mühsam, Frank Wedekind, Franz Werfel and Stefan Zweig. The last, sixth number is also an anthology in memoriam of the French poet Léon Deubel.

The eight Beiblätter are mostly with textual content, a review partly of the content of the actual number of Maiandros and party books mostly by the contributors of the magazine, with some illustrations.
