Covers edgeworn and joints weak, front cover held by binder's cords, text block sound with no loosened pages, pages clean with some age-toning and a fairly faint dampstain to the lower right hand area through most of the first half of the book, affecting only the lower three lines of text at the most, no chips or tears. . Crenius includes studies on family building, equipping church officials, vices forbidden at the altar, and the approach to sacrifices. Very little is known of this book – a very rare, late 17th-century devotional published in Rotterdam.
