London: MacGibbon and Kee, 1961. 1st Edition. Blue Boards. Near Fine/Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" Large. 144pp of text with 12 full page colour plates and followed by a further 170 b/w photographic plates. Gilt embossed lettering to the spine and small vignette to the front board. Fresh, clean and tight. Dust wrapper is pric eclipped and protected in a fully reversible plastic sleeve. Loss of 2 cm to the wrapper at the tail of the spine and an area of 3 cm x 9 cm loss to the head of the rear of the wrapper. A few short tears from the wrapper edges with associated creasing. Light rubbing to the wrapper edges. The colour picture on the front of the wrapper remains clean and tight. A near fine copy of this book with a good wrapper.
