About This Item

Stiff paper wraps show no surface, edge or spine wear; the perfect binding is tight, text block pages are clear of marks. Includes Introduction, 9 chapters and Epilogue, also B&W illustrations and photographs chapter 7. From Goodreads: "The main thesis of this book is that, in the intellectual life, there are only two ultimate alternatives: either the thinker conforms desire to truth or he conforms truth to desire…Required reading for anyone who wishes to understand the intellectual fashions of the Twentieth century." Overweight, oversized or overseas (including Canada and Mexico) shipments almost always cost more. You will be contacted as soon as we determine the additional shipping charge.
