First presented in London, March 1952. First NY performance was presented by Alfred de Liagre and John C. Wilson at the Morosco Theatre on Nov. 5, 1952, directed by Frith Banbury and starring Margaret Sullavan, Betty Sinclair, John Merivale, Stella Andrew, Herbert Berghof and Alan Webb. Filmed in 1955 by London FilmProds. and 20th Century Fox, directed by Anatole Litvak from a script by Rattigan and starring Vivian Leigh, Kenneth More and Sir Emlyn Williams.
