About This Item
A selection of essays by writers who were young in 1959 - Lindsay Anderson, John Osborne, Kenneth Tynan, Stuart Holroyd, Doris Lessing, Colin Wilson, Bill Hopkins, John Wain - with a black-and-white photo and brief biog at the start of each essay. The book itself is in beautiful condition, teal/grey with bright red lettering on the spine, and red to the top of the page-edges. The dustjacket is unclipped and bears the price 8s 6d. It has wear to the edges and corners and one small closed tear. This is the 1959 Readers Union version of the book originally published in 1957. Very rare in the UK.
