It is one of Australia's most notorious unsolved murders. His death shocked the local community and reverberates 50 years later. The author puts together the complex strands of a police investigation, coroner's inquest, New Scotland Yard inquiry and trial. He also looks at the three attempts at gay law reform in South Australia started by Duncan's murder, before the state led the nation and English-speaking world when it embraced decriminalisation in 1975. This book is well researched and richly illustrated.
