About This Item

London: Canongate, 2009. First edition. Cloth. Near Fine/Near Fine. 9.5" by 6.5". Not Stated. A near fine, first edition copy of this salacious novel, 'The Death of Bunny Munro', by Nick Cave. Signed by the author to the title page and in the original dust wrapper. Presenting the second novel of British author Nick Cave, known as the lead singer of the band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. This book depicts the life of Bunny Munro, a middle-aged Lothario who lives in Brighton in the early 2000s. His constant drinking and womanising comes to a halt after his wife's suicide just at the same time as a serial killer makes his or her way to Brighton...This work was nominated for the Literary Review's Bad Sex in Fiction Award. The first edition, first printing of this work. Signed by the author to the title page. In the original, unclipped dust wrapper. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, lovely. Original unclipped dust wrapper is lovely and bright, with just some light spotting the interior of the wrap. Internally, firmly bound. A few spots to the fore-edge, and an odd spot to the page, which are otherwise very bright and clean. Near Fine
