Illustrated throughout with frontispiece, fourteen plates three of which are in colour, and many in-text drawings. Collated complete. A study of golden eagles with chapters on: the Scottish eyries of the golden eagle, a pair of eagles and their home life, the country of the eagle, grouse preserving and sheep farming. Written by Seton Gordon, a Scottish naturalist, photographer, and folklorist. Headpieces and coloured plates by John Cyril Harrison, a British artist. Photographs by the author and his wife. In the original black cloth binding. Externally, smart with light shelf wear and rubbing to the extremities. Minor fraying to the head of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with age toning to the endpapers and the odd spot. Very Good
