A first edition advance reading copy (ARC)/uncorrected proof/bound galley book in very good+ condition with no dust jacket as issued (trade paperback). An unread, tight, clean, sound copy in color illustrated white wraps with very, very minor overall shelf wear with some very light rubbing on teh front cover plus there is a tiny (less than 0.25") closed tear on the bottom edge of the front cover. The main character is a greeting card artist who becomes in a reality television show that pairs singles for dating and then allows the audience to vote on which couple would make the best parents. In the midle of this, a friend disappears and the LAPD detective assigned to the case seems more interested in dating the artist than in finding her firend. When she starts looking into events herself, she ends up involved in an FBI investigation of a drug cartel while at the same time having to face threats from her fellow television show contestants. Synopsis
