Hardcover. Good. McClurg & Co., 1915. FIRST EDITION. Scarce. Half cloth with paper boards. G+/P: A good+ condition book, considerable dampness has faded the lower half of the spine to pink which has only slightly bled through to the gutters. Also minor shelf wear to the edges/ bumping to the corners, but clean, tight, square and bright. Exceedingly rare dust jacket present, but in rough shape, spine portion missing and "functionally" taped together. 99% of text from DJ present however. Also includes the surprisingly pristine original Advertisement (a two page pamphlet) which includes some recipes. From the Pre-WWI Dame Curtsey series, which focused on housekeeping, entertaining and etiquette. Includes vintage cocktail recipes.
