L'exposition Dada a pour ambition de montrer ce que fut l'un des mouvements artistiques internationaux les plus marquants du XXème siècle qui a influencé de nombreux courants artistiques contemporains. C'est la première grande exposition organisée en France depuis l'exposition présentée au Musée national d'art moderne en 1966. Elle rassemble plus de 1000 oeuvres de 50 artistes en provenance de prestigieuses collections publiques et privées. Le Centre Pompidou sera particulièrement à l'honneur en présentant pratiquement l'intégralité de sa collection Dada, une des plus riches au monde avec celle du MoMA qui prêtera exceptionnellement plus de 100 oeuvres.
