Mel Crawford (1925 – 2015) was a Canadian-American children's book illustrator. He illustrated over 93 Western Publishing books, but he also worked for various film and TV companies and made books starring some of the most popular fictional characters of the 20th century for Disney, Hanna-Barbera, and Jim Henson Productions.
"Giant Little Golden Books offer nearly triple value over any comparable Little Golden Book, with more pictures in color, more pages, and more lively stories in every volume."
