Octavo; 240pp. Illustrated dust jacket with $4.50 price intact; book in green cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Jacket rubbed along edges with a half-inch closed tear at top back, along with some light scuffs and smudges to surface and some toning / foxing to back panel and flaps. Foxing and a small tape repair to jacket interior. Boards a bit faded at edges, with nudging to spine ends. Toning to endpapers along hinge, else interior clean and unmarked. Binding is tight.
Initially published in the UK as An Age, the dystopian novel won Australia's Ditmar Award for Best International Science Fiction in 1969.
