William Wyckoff (1955 - ) is emeritus professor of earth sciences Montana State University where he taught from 1986 until his retirement in 2020. As a professor of cultural geography, he has, and continues to, conduct research and has written numerous books on the historical evolution of interactions among people and places in the American West.
