Decorative, unclipped dustjacket is in excellent, fine condition and has perfectly protected the sky-blue hardbound paper boards. The spine, boards, corners are all in mint condition with no wear or previous damage. Title, author, and publisher symbol in silver to the spine. Spine is straight and firm. Hinges are firmly attached to the endpapers. Text block is firm and solid with all pages attached. The interior pages are clean with no tears, chips, creases, or previous owner marks. William Wyckoff (1955 - ) is emeritus professor of earth sciences Montana State University where he taught from 1986 until his retirement in 2020. As a professor of cultural geography, he has, and continues to, conduct research and has written numerous books on the historical evolution of interactions among people and places in the American West.
