Book is bound in brown cloth boards with metallic lettering on spine; no bumping or wear; small faint water stain to upper right corner of front board, otherwise clean. Signed on front free endpaper: "Hugh Carter - Jimmy's 1st Cousin." No previous owner names or bookplates. Illustrated with photographs. 366 pages with Index. Dust jacket is clean, not price clipped, but has 1" chip at upper rear panel corner (mended with clear tape at some point), a few short closed edge tears; now enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover.
