(Boston, Massachusetts), 7 5/8 x 10 1/8 inches tall grey cloth hardcover in publisher's unclipped dust jacket, gilt lettering to spine, copiously illustrated with black-and-white and color drawings, 72 pp. Slight rubbing and marginal sun toning to covers. Retired library copy, with slight abrasions to front and rear pastedowns and stamps or accession marks to page edges, front free-endpaper and title page. Creasing to upper tip of front free-endpper and title page. Otherwise, apart from a couple of instances of slight foxing, an excellent reading/reference copy in a dust jacket which has a call number to the spine but which is nicely preserved and displayed in a clear archival Brodart sleeve. ~SP24~ [1.5P] Describes and illustrates the clothing and accessories of English men, women, and children of all classes from Roman and Saxon times to the twentieth century.
