New York: E. Duyckinck,, 1820. An attractive American edition of Jane Marcet's popular work on free market economic ideas for ordinary working people, first published in 1816. Duodecimo, gathered and signed in half sheets. Contemporary tree sheep, red morocco label, lettered in gilt. Front joint cracking at foot but still very firm, upper portion of half-title torn away, not affecting text, contents slightly foxed. A very good copy. Carpenter XXXVI (6).
