About This Item
New York: New Directions, 1971. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo. Quarter cream cloth lettered in black, over orange paper boards. Very light bump to the spine head, dust jacket price clipped and a little yellowed at the spine and edges, but otherwise clean and pretty much without wear. Canadians author Greg Gatenby's ownership signature to the front endpaper at upper corner, and signed by Octavio Paz just under that. Nice signed copy, first edition of this collection, translated by Paz, Aroul, Blackburn, Kemp, Levertov, Frederick Nims, Rukeyser, Tomlinson and Fong Wust.
