A very smart copy of this collection of poetry by Rupert Brooke illustrated with a portrait, in the original dust wrapper. Early edition of The Complete Poems of Rupert Brooke in the original publisher's cloth binding and unclipped dust wrapper. A collection of poetry by the young English war poet, who is known for his idealistic war sonnets written during the First World War, in particular 'The Soldier', which is included in this collection. Includes a portrait as the frontispiece and a facsimile of the MS of The Soldier. Collated, complete. In the original publisher's cloth binding and unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart. There is some slight wear to the extremities of the dust wrapper and light age toning. To the binding, there is some minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean. Very Good
