Based on actual events, this is the story of Uriah P. Levy, (April 22, 1792 – March 26, 1862), a young Jewish man who began his career at an early age and who, inspired by the legacy of Thomas Jefferson, rose to great heights as the first Jewish Commodore in the United States Navy. He later paid tribute to Jefferson by presenting a statue of him to the Government in Washington and by purchasing and restoring Monticello, Jefferson's home. J
